I’ve got wheels!
It is not easy for me to express appreciation for Ruchika, considering I’ve been living in squalor for over a year now (refer here for details) thanks to her general tardiness/reluctance to finish the construction of my new house (for which, might I add, I’ve already paid her in full, as I may or may not have mentioned in an earlier blogpost.)
BUT. Today, I’m going to be a little more forgiving because, this morning, I woke up to find a rather neat little present – and also an apology/peace offering – from her. She bought me a new Vespa! I have transportation now! I don’t have to make the mile long trek from drawer to bathroom to wash my hands anymore. The scooter is from Scale Arts, an online diecast seller based in Pune, (whom I shall certainly be keeping an eye on from now on, for whenever I might wish to upgrade to my first car in the future) – go check them out if you’re into tiny diecast automotives!
She left a little card on the seat too :/
Anyway, begrudging as it may seem, I am very grateful for the new wheels. Alright, this is getting embarrassing. Bye.
