Special: Little R’s Euro Trip
Little R smuggles herself into my luggage and embarks on a month long tour of Germany & France (with no shoes or winter gear, might I add.) Scroll to see what she gets up to on her impromptu Euro trip!
Little R visits Schloss Heidelberg
Negotiations in the Black Forest
Little R pretending she knows what it takes to make miniature shoes (which I'm sure I'd be terrible at, so even if I were to indulge her, she's bound to complain.) Still, I suppose I have some sympathy for her, walking around barefoot in the 11° cold. Pictures from her day in the Black Forest.
Jazzhaus, Heidelberg
Little R spending her Friday night at a cute little live show in Heidelberg. Yes, still no shoes.
Sunday drive down to Strasbourg, France
Little R visits the Eiffel Tower!
Little R feeling smaller than usual at the summit of the Eiffel Tower, 300 metres off the ground. I have to hold on to her feet for safety – it took too many years to get to this version of Little R. I am not losing her to a frickin’ signal tower.
*cue French bistro music*
Little R chilling with us at a little French café with her tiny wine and food. I couldn't find her refreshments any smaller than this, but she said she'd make do for the sake of her Parisian experience.
At the Moulin Rouge!
Little R got some rather prime seating at the Moulin Rouge. The show itself was incredible and it more than made up for the two weeks she's spent in Europe so far without shoes.
Visiting the Louvre!
Little R goes to the Louvre! She saw the Mona Lisa too, though I have no proper pictures because the Mona Lisa room is basically a fish market. As you can imagine, she was rather unimpressed by how ML was really not THAT much bigger than her....
On the train from Paris back to Germany
In case you're wondering how Little R gets around, she travels chihuahua style. Taking in the sights and hiding from the train conductor like the little ticketless vagabond she is.
